Hurricane Deck Boats

Inboard/Outboard VS. Outboard

Having an I/O in your boat allows you to have a sunbathing platform which doubles as your motor cover. This style of motor also allows you to have a full swim deck on the back of the boat. A few of the downsides are the need for Winterization, they are a bit noisy and the fuel consumption is not the greatest.

The 4 stroke outboards are lighter, give you better fuel economy, require no Winterization and are much, much quieter. This gives you the ability to carry on a conversation even while underway without screaming to be heard.

Hurricane 196- Wanna fish? This boat will give you a stable platform to give chase to your favorite fish. The fishing chairs are mounted in the boat so for those with young anglers there is no fear of them falling overboard.

Hurricane 198- Almost the same as the 196, except the fishing chairs are mounted on the bow of the boat. This adds more seating in the interior enabling you to take more passengers for a cruise on your favorite body of water comfortably.
